The One Year Millionaire

This is the 2nd issue of the ‘ONE YEAR MILLIONAIRE’. Today I’m going to dig into the online cranium of what is marketing genius and reveal a couple ways to make money online. Remember that to make money, you will almost always have to invest some first. Nothing is free. We are going to jump into the following:

1. Multi-Level-Marketing

2. Affiliate Marketing

3. Pay Per Click programs

4. Work at Home programs

5. Making money with E-Bay

So lets start with the first one,

Multi-Level-Marketing

1. Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM, also referred to as Network Marketing) is a distribution model that allows a company to market their products by either relationship referal or direct sales.

The founders or owners of these companies are making the bulk of the profits, but there is still a lot of money to be made as some of these companies are making billions.

The idea is that you would either buy their product (generally it would be information or digital products that can be downloaded to their home computer) and once you are enrolled into their program. You can make tons of extra cash by building a downline and making multiple streams of residual income with direct referrals.

There are many new companies emerging every few days because the business of online marketing is thriving, so it is possible that a lot of these are most likely scams. The best way to avoid that is to do your homework and a little research. Finding troublesome information about a company before you sign up is a lot more convenient than after you have already been tricked. However, don’t always believe what others post on forums or msg boards because surely there is always someone who will bash another company’s program or product if it is in competition with their own.

Always make an informed decision regarding these companies, I will be posting links to trusted and reliable companies that I have personally gotten results from.

Affiliate Marketing

2. Affiliate Marketing has been going on for ages. Affiliate marketing is one of the oldest internet based practices where a company will reward an affiliate for customers that they have retrieved.

Basically, you sign up to become an affiliate of a company ( you can become an affiliate for almost all types of products or services ). Once you have signed up, you are ready to start promoting their product/service either through your web page or even offline marketing strategies. Just remember that whenever there is a product being sold, most companies are always looking for a middle man to help generate more sales, and this would be where you come in.

If you have your own high traffic website generating between 500,000 to 1,000,000 hits a month. You are bound to collect commissions on products you are promoting on your page. Like I have states in the previous issue, to increase your chances of success and your income… the best possible way would be to have more doors leading to your success. The means would be through more than one website each with a decent amount of traffic, and voila: big profits on the side!

Pay-Per-Click Programs

3. Pay-Per-Click programs are relatively new to the fact that when they started emerging on the internet, almost 95% of them were hardcore scams. They would still be legal because they do in fact pay out and they do follow what they have stated in their terms; however, some of the minimum goals that they have set are nearly impossible to reach. Something close to 1 person out of 100,000 would be able to make the minimum payout, meanwhile the website is generating tons of revenue off of their advertising and countless hours that people have spent on the site trying to make a little money on the side.

These days the are some new programs that are more realistic. The incentives they are offering are much less than the dreams that the precedent has set, but they are getting better results. For each click you are looking at approximately 1 to 2 cents earned. Obviously you aren’t going to make much with these programs, but if you are serious and can get a few followers then you can make a good amount of money on the side for less than an hour of work a week.

Most pay-per-click programs have a referral policy where you would also earn however much they earn and up to 2-3 levels with some of them. For example: You click 10 ads a day (10 cents) , and you refer 10 people who each click 10 ads a day (1 dollar) , who each refer 10 people who click 10 ads a day (10 dollars). $11 a day is not bad for a little income on the side for clicking your computer mouse 10 times a day.

Work-at-Home Programs

4. Work-at-Home programs are becoming more and more popular. It started with moms who wanted to stay at home and take care of their kids who wanted to make some money. In modern America, it isn’t only mothers of 5 children who want to work from home. Virtually anyone you
can ask would rather do their job in the comfort of their home instead of in the office. There are very simple reasons: the first one being that you set your own hours (taking breaks whenever you want!), you don’t waste money on transportation costs and you get to be a little closer to the ones you love

There are literally thousands of these programs on the internet now, many of them requiring you to do little tasks online or with spreadsheet or word documents. All you need is a novice knowledge of the internet and a little spare time and you could be receiving anywhere between $20-$200 for an hour’s work.

Making money with E-Bay

5. Making money with E-bay takes a little bit of work, but with the right tools and the right attitude you can do wonders for your wallet! Think about how retailers make money off of the items that they sell in their stores? The same concepts are used here. They buy products at generally low costs and they sell them for profit. You aren’t going to become an overnight millionaire by selling one or two iPods, but if you work your way into the thousands then you are surely going to make big bucks.

There are so many ways to make huge profit using E-Bay online and capitalizing on the world’s market. Instead of hitting your local spenders, you have your hands on customers across the globe. I am going to go more into detail about these profit making techniques using E-bay in an upcoming issue, because it just goes so deep, there are so many things you can do.
