Issue 38 : Search Engine Optimization (Part 2)

In the first part of the Search Engine Optimization post I wrote about what are the most utilized and common practices when it comes to Search Engine Optimization. In a recent issue I touched on the difference between Black Hat SEO and White Hat SEO and in this issue of the ‘ONE YEAR MILLIONAIRE‘ I am going to summarize what I’ve said in previous articles and provide you links to some great Search Engine Optimization tools!

If you aren’t already familiar with the term SEO (Search Engine Optimization)… it is basically the practice of optimizing your web page so that web engine robots can index them easily giving them the best possible ranking. This would allow your web page to gain more traffic through search engines such as Google and Yahoo!

The most common Search Engine Optimization involves the structure of your websites. This includes the page title, page url, page description, meta tags (keywords). The next basic way to set up your website for good Search Engine Optimization is to build good content that is rich with keywords that are relevant to your page topic.

One of the harder ways to achieve great SEO is to build a giant list of quality backlinks that will provide for a big traffic increase and will also raise your ranking in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).

If you are new to Search Engine Optimization and online marketing then you might not be an expert… there are many great SEO tools available online. I am going to go through a couple of them so that you can have the resources that you need to properly optimize your website! Now that you have some of the necessary tools to build great backlinks and view detailed statistics on your web pages Search Engine Optimization you are prepared to set up your web page for maximum traffic.
