The One Year Millionaire

Making money with Google Adsense is something that has been known for a quite a while now on the internet. Every online marketer or webmaster knows that by placing relevant ads with Adsense on their website they can make some money.. but there are still very few who are making enormous amounts with Adsense! Even though most online marketing strategists know the basic rules when using Adsense and have learned many ways to use it to increase their earnings, there are still not many people who will actually follow through and do everything.

I know you’ve probably heard it all before.. but here is what I think you can do to make your Adsense ads more profitable for you!

1.Terms of Service.
Make sure that your website complies with Google’s TOS. If you try to increase your earnings by doing something that will break their terms then your website will probably eventually get banned and we are ultimately trying to increase our earnings, not trying to reduce them to ZERO!

2.Ad Positioning.
You have to think very strategically when placing the ads on your pages because there have been tests that showed that this dramatically affect the click-through rate! Obviously if no one sees your ad because it is down at the bottom of the page that will hurt you ad revenue! Placing ads between posts or between links is a good placement in my opinion because there is a high chance they are already looking in that area and they could spot an ad that they are interested in!

3.Ad Relevancy.
To ensure that your ads are relevant you have to create content that is rich with keywords! The more content you have then the more accurate and precise your ads will be! Google can’t just visit each page and pick ads so they use a system that will display ads based on your content, so make sure that you have good well written content!

4.Targeting Different Niches.
At first you will want to start by using Adsense on one website, but after you are used to the concept and become familiar with it then you should think about starting more websites each targeting different niches so that you can increase your ad revenue! If you have one website that makes $5 a day that is a good start, but if you have 50 websites that each make 50 cents to a dollar… then you have a great looking future. The reason is that once these websites are built they will grow with work and then you will have multiple streams of Adsense income that could add up to hundreds of dollars a day!

5.Traffic.
If I haven’t already made this clear in previous issues, traffic is important! This is the single most important thing that is need by each and every webmaster to run their sites. If there are no visitors, then there is no one clicking your ads. If there a some visitors, then there is some chance that someone will click an ad. If there is a lot of visitors then there is a probability that someone will click an ad! Building a steady stream of traffic to your website is the hardest work you will face when making money online but it is well worth all the work!
