Issue 87 : Thinking Like a Millionaire is a Self Fulfilling Prophecy.
“The self-fulfilling prophecy is, in the beginning, a false definition of the situation evoking a new behaviour which makes the original false conception come ‘true’. This specious validity of the self-fulfilling prophecy perpetuates a reign of error. For the prophet will cite the actual course of events as proof that he was right from the very beginning.”
In this case, our original false conception is that it is near impossible for an average person with little knowledge of business to become a millionaire. If you say to yourself ” I don’t think I can become a Millionaire… “ then there is a high chance that you will not. Not only is the law of the Self Fulfilling Prophecy standing in front of you, but also your weak ambition. Success and Failure is a game of “ifs” and “buts”, nothing is certain and all you can try to do is increase your odds at winning. If you don’t believe in yourself, then you are already predicting your failure. Turn the tables around now. ” I believe that becoming a millionaire is within my reach! “. You may not just suddenly “Become a Millionaire”, but you will gradually see improvements in your work, your attitude and your life.
Go ahead and apply this theory to Internet Marketing. 9/10 Internet Marketers fail (or give up) because they either don’t have the time to put in work, they don’t know what they are doing, or they don’t truly believe that they can make it!
I have already stated several times that there are tons of ways to Make Money Online. There is Ad Publishing, Freelancing, Selling Products, Selling Services, and Affiliate Marketing. These are all extremely broad topics which cover many different Money Making Opportunities! Before you tell yourself that “Affiliate Marketing” isn’t for you, give it a shot! Most Affiliate Marketing programs have no startup costs so there is nothing to lose! When I started Internet Marketing I focused on one Business Model: “Make Money with Google AdSense” and I didn’t really make any serious cash. Once I started to diversify my work… the money started coming in!
In a work field where success depends completely on you and your own production: sky is the limit! If you work a boring 9 to 5 job at $12/hour then you can calculate how much money you can make on any given work week provided that your schedule is constant. When you step into a world of business like “Internet Marketing”, all your boundaries disappear and it is up to you to make it happen. The best thing about it is that there is no salary cap for your work!
If you want to be an Online Millionaire, you have to think like an Online Millionaire! In the end it could just be your Self Fulfilling Prophecy.

Great post KG.
Positive thinking is pretty much 90% of the battle to increasing a persons wealth.
Something that people don’t quite understand is that if they think just as you said that they are not going to be rich or ever have a certain amount of income then it won’t happen.
If a person believes that they can’t do something then they will never do what they believe they cannot do.
On the other hand if you believe that you can become a millionaire then your chance of becoming one just shot up like 75%. Perhaps more.
Positive thinking is one of the keys to success, believe in yourself will take you far.
On the other hand not everyone can become a millionaire because if everyone was a millionaire then the money wouldn’t be worth anything.
So, the people that will become rich are quite frankly people who take action to acquire the wealth.

I agree 100% with this point. Positive thinking is not everything you need to suceed, but is the foundation.

Great article you have it here. It’s true! I grew up with the thought that whatever your mind can perceive, it can achieve. Though it’s easier said than done. With consistent practice, we can make better use of our subconscious mind to achieve the millionaire mindset.

I agree that thinking like a rich man will set you in the right direction of discovering riches.
If you are forever bound by existing rules which determine that you remain an office worker, your wealth will be limited.
