In this issue I am going to talk about how you can take your own interests and turn them into Online Money Makers!

Right now there is a big trend that is hitting the world by storm. People everywhere want to know how they can Make Money Online and quit their jobs and maybe live the life of their dreams! If you take most of their Online Experience into consideration then you will notice that many people don’t know much about making Money Online and just try to mimic what they have seen elsewhere.    This is extremely simple and anyone can do it! You are basically creating a simple website about something you are interested in and monetizing it in various ways. You can either place advertising on these sites, promote affiliate products or even sell it for profit!
   If you are a person with many interests then don’t let that stop you from creating multiple websites for multiple streams of income!
2. Online Stores
   Do you have anything to sell? If you are an entrepreneur than even if you don’t you may come up with ideas of how you can take your interests and convert them into dollars! I have personally always wanted to create my own clothing line and have realized that with the internet at your feet it is easier than ever!
   Let your imagination do the work for you. Making Money by selling things online isn’t as easy as Niche Sites, but I am certain that the profits would be much greater if you put a lot of work into it and have a solid product to sell!
3. Online Services
   If you don’t have a product to sell then maybe you might have a great service to offer! People have different interests and they also have different skills. This is a great idea for Freelancers to make a lot of money online by providing their services to others. Whether you write, create art, design, etc. there will always be a high demand for outsourced services in any business environment!
   A friend of mine has made a fortune through his passion of photography! He used to take pictures for fun, but now he takes pictures everywhere and sells his work as stock photography online! You don’t need to stop there, you can always take your ideas a few steps further, be creative!

If you know the story behind websites like Facebook and MySpace then you know that anyone can make it big online! It just shows that you don’t need much knowledge or experience to make tons of money on the internet! Take your interests and if you haven’t started creating your Online Empire, then start building!

This is to say that you might have 99 things wrong with your website, but it wouldn’t have as much of a negative impact as bad SEO! If your website is not optimized properly for search engines you could end up missing out on a lot of money!

When it comes to creating a website that you intend to monetize, the most important thing is traffic! If you do not have people visiting  your website then you will not make money. There are numerous ways to make money with a website such as affiliate commissions, ad impressions and clicks, but none of it will matter if you don’t have a single visitor each day!

These are my ranking positions as of June 28th 2008 compared to September 28th. Everything seemed to go up considerably despite the lack of updates. Within the last few months I am surprised that I finally received a PR3 and had it taken away! I would like to note that I got my PR3 back after emailing Google about it! As for my 45n5 ranking, I am now within the top 100 Online Marketing websites which is another good thing.

There hasn’t been much of a gain in traffic which I can only assume has to do with the lack of updates and the amount of time I have spent on SEO and Link Building. The numbers jumped near the end of July peaking at almost 1000 visitors and came back down by September. I think that the traffic will increase once I get the ball rolling again.

In this issue I am going to talk about why it is very important for you to become an Online Authority on the subject of your website. The main critical reason to you will want to try your hardest to become an authority is to build your company’s credibility and to acquire the trust of your readers.

Having a solid reader base is one of the most important steps to maintaining a successful website. If you want to do well with Internet Marketing or establishing any other Online Business then you will want to reach as many people as possible. You will want to attract new readers and keep them. For example, if I am currently an authority on health and exercise and I start to promote Diet products on my website I will probably do quite well. If I am not an authority then I will probably have to work a lot harder to get these products to sell!

Your Online Reputation can do a lot for you once you’ve earned it. Since I’ve been doing Online Marketing I’ve connected with quite a few other webmasters and we generally do what we can to help eachother out and keep our network growing strong. Becoming an Authority on a certain subject will help you target and also broaden your audience. If you have a Website that sells the latest shoes and everyone knows that it is the #1 source to buy shoes online then you are bound to make a killing! If you just read that sentence and thought to yourself “What can I do to be known as the #1 Source?” then you are already on your way to become a great Internet Marketer!

Now that you know the advantages of Becoming an Authority here are a few ways you can become an Online Authority and Make Some Money!:

1. Get The First Scoop. You always want to try your best to bring the ground-breaking news to your readers before it has been published everywhere else! One of the greatest things about Marketing and the internet is that today’s news is actually today’s news! If you read a newspaper you are reading about what happened yesterday, but Online you can find out what is going on right now! Give your audience the first scoop when you have it and you will have readers coming back for more!
2. Introduce New Ideas. If you are in an innovative field and there is always topics of debate and opinion then you always have the option of bringing your own unique ideas to the table. If you want to spark discussion on your Website it is always encouraged be active with your readers and offer your own ideas.
3. Provide Detailed and Accurate Information. Having a Website with information that is not necessarily correct can sometimes hurt your Online Image. It is not always the best idea to make up things or to lie about something on your website because the last thing you want is to lose your loyal readership! Always try to the best of your knowledge to provide accurate information and you will be surprised how many people will listen to your words.
4. Build Your Link Popularity. A great way to build your Online Reputation is to have links from a lot of other Websites. This is not only beneficial for your Online Authority, but it is also great for Search Engine Optimization!
5. Connect With Other Websites In Your Industry. Networking is probably one of the most important tools that every single Marketer has available to them. The funny thing is that a lot of Marketers don’t take advantage of Networking in their field or even at all; therefore, cannot benefit from all the rewards! Knowing other people is one of your greatest weapons and that is why you always hear about lucky people who become successful because of friends in high places.

Start building your Online Reputation and try to work your way to the top. There are certain niches that are virtually untouched online and it is only a matter of time before they become swamped! Your best bet is to try and be the first to launch a Website in a specific niche and you are bound to become the Online Authority!

Just like anything else in life there is a good side and a bad side. If you’ve learned about philoshophy and psychology you may know that the world is based primarily on balance. In a simplistic example with two elements, any shift in balance will upset the natural order of things. This is why there always has to be a perfect balance between good and bad, up and down, right and wrong. If you eradicate all evil in the world, then a stronger evil will come along and replace it.

In my eyes Internet Marketing made a very positive impact on my career and my life, but that doesn’t mean that it is all flowers and sunshine! I’ve already stressed that it isn’t for everyone, but those who want something badly enough will definitely succeed in this business. Even though there are many great things within the scope of Internet Marketing and Online Businesses, there will always be some negative factors that will force some people to doubt their choices.

Here are a few negative things to keep in mind:

• 1. Difficulty
  Making money on the Internet is definitely not a walk in the park and this alone will drive possible Internet Marketers back to the reality of their day jobs. I have seen so many come and go in this business because they lacked either the commitment, time or investment to make it Big Online! While many money making structures have been time tested, it doesn’t mean that it is an automatic homerun. For example, positioning your AdSense ads a certain way has proved to help CTR (click through rate) and has made some people a lot of money, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for you. Furthermore, making money online will vary from situation to situation and a small difference (such as niche, traffic, location, language, etc.) could have a huge affect on potential profits. The Internet Marketing game is a tough one to master, but once you get the hang of it you will do well!
• 2. Investment
  When I talk about Investment I am not necessarily talking about money. You could invest time and effort into Online Marketing and find that you’ve lost a lot more time than you did money, and I know that sometimes losing a lot of time can be a lot worse than losing a lot of money. To succeed in this industry you obviously will need to spend a lot of time; especially in the beginning to get things rolling. The good part is that once you get it rolling it usually keeps rolling and won’t stop for a while! If you are willing to invest a lot of hours to start your Internet Marketing career then you are headed on the right path, all you need to do now is take the right information and put it to work!
• 3. Competition
  When it comes to building websites for the sole purpose of monetizing them then it becomes tremendously difficult in certain niches/industries. This is because there is a lot of competition with publishers and advertisers alike. For example, if you are paying 20 cents per click to your website and someone else bids 30 cents then they will get more views than you. Eventually competition will heat up and the bid wars will bring the clicks to a price that not many can afford. Fighting for clicks or search engine placement is tough, but if you can find ways around it then you will be ahead of the pack. Just keep in mind that websites that have been online for a long time already will have a big advantage with the SERPS (search engine result page) and you will need to work on SEO (search engine optimization) to try and take the lead. If you manage to make money in a niche with a lot of competition then you are doing great!
• 4. Stability/Uncertainty
  One of the main reasons that a lot of people will never go into Internet Marketing or they will give up early is because of the uncertainty that comes along with it. You may be able to quickly generate a good income from a website or many websites, but can you really fore-see the future? Life is always throwing surprises at you and it is very possible that one day you are making hundreds of dollars with your website and the next you may not ( ex. banned from google, loss of interest, etc). One way that a lot of Internet Marketers will beat this is by always staying up to date with the latest internet trends as well as current events. Knowing what is happening in the world around you will always give you the upper hand and give you time to plan your moves. If you find big news and you are the first to cover it then you can become an authority figure on whatever you are talking about. Either way; in life there are many uncertainties and there is really no way of knowing what you will face tomorrow or the day after. Don’t be afraid to take risks and follow what your instincts!

Now that you’ve heard about the downsides of Internet Marketing you have to decide whether this is the life for you, or whether you should do something else. If you are in it for the long hall then make sure that you are prepared for the unexpected and make the most out of your experience. The worst part is that with the economy going down and inflation, today’s common man or woman will always be left on the bad end of the scale. While the price of living goes up all the time, the salary rates ,etc. don’t seem to budge. I know that personally when I was doing Online Marketing, my first big goal that I wanted to reach was to get out of debt! I had a $25,000 student loan that I had to pay back on top of money that I had borrowed from friends and family. Once I had accomplished that task I was ready to really make some money!

I initially wanted to write this issue just to motivate you to do something about any Debts you may have. Taking a step and taking action is already doing a lot more than most people. I wanted to tell everyone that they shouldn’t let Debts stand in their way in any scenario, but my argument had one fatal flaw. How could I tell people not to let Debts take over their lives and then, not provide anything to help them accomplish it?

So rather than just telling people what to do I scoured the internet for answers and I found a few different solutions. The solutions range from information coming from my own Financial Knowledge, programs to help you get out of Debt and a combination of Instant Credit and a plan.

1. From all my past experiences and stories I’ve been told there are really only two solid options to take initiative and reduce any Unwavering Debts. They are Debt Consolidation and Filing Bankruptcy.
   • Debt Consolidation : This is what I would personally do in any Debt situation if I feel like it may be getting out of hand. This is the idea of taking all your current multiple Debt Sources and combining them into one single Debt. For example: you are late on all your bill payments (electricity bill, internet/phone bill, etc.) and what you would do is go over to the bank and have them consolidate your debts. This means that they will pay all your bills for you and then; instead of owing several different companies/people, you will only have to repay the bank. This is great in many ways because the bank usually has a low interest rate and also it becomes much easier to make payments to one place making it a lot less confusing and much more organized!
   • Filing Bankruptcy : This is only something that you should do when there are no alternatives. Filing Bankruptcy will put a stain on your credit records and you should only do it as a last resort to escape the most Complex Debts. This is to officially declare the inability to pay your Debts. The laws of certain countries may treat it differently, but this is a very serious matter and should be taken care of professionally. I remember spending hours at the computer, constantly forgetting things and the time just kept adding up, but the results were minimal. Today I can say to myself that I am much more organized and I when I want to get it done I can do it quickly and efficiently because I don’t have other thoughts or worries floating around in my head at the same time. I can see that what would have taken me a week to accomplish, I can now do in a day! In fact, lately I find myself enjoying a lot of extra personal time while waiting for deadlines. I find that my businesses grow at a reasonable pace and that I don’t need to keep checking up on everything every 15 minutes like I did when I first started.

When I was in school and teachers used to tell me about the benefits of being Organized it would have just went in one ear and out the other, but now that I have seen the difference that it can make in my own life I believe in its power! I can now get more things done in a shorter period of time, think more clearly and save a lot of money in the process.

Here are a few things that I do that you may find useful:

• Create a proper Working Environment
  When I sit down at my desk it means that I want to get down to business and get my work out of my way. Sometimes it is hard if my working space is cluttered with random papers and other things that may get in my way while I am trying to work. I like to keep my Working Environment clean so that nothing gets lost and so that I can remember where everything I need is located.
• Follow a Schedule
  This is probably one of the most important things that you can do to stay organized. Whenever it comes to work I always want to get it all out of the way so that I don’t need to worry later on and just enjoy my own personal time. This is why I like to keep my days organized by making schedules of tasks that I need to get done on a regular basis. For example, when I work on websites I like to dedicate time towards writing new and unique content and also towards the whole Link Building Process! Setting an hour or two aside for these repeditive tasks can really help you clear space for your own enjoyment! If I didn’t organize these things it would take me much longer to get them done or they may not even get done at all!
• Write Down Your Ideas
  If something comes to your mind; whether it is an idea for a new project or if it is just a catchy line for an article’s title, you should write it down so that you don’t forget. Sometimes I think of things and then later on when I try to remember it may not sound the same or may not be there at all. The fact that you are writing things down already gives you a bigger chance of taking action with that specific thing. Next time you think of a cool name for a website, you should write it down… if you think of a domain name that you may want to purchase, write it down so that you can remember to check if it is available as soon as possible. Writing things down on a piece of paper or even on your computer will change the way you approach your work and will give you an advantage!
• Keep Track of Your Money
  When I first started doing Internet Marketing I spent a lot of money buying what they called “Secret Money-Making Programs” and I noticed that a whole lot of what I spent my money on was useless. Rather than thinking of it as a lot of wasted cash, I decide to think of it as a learning process. My investment was eventually returned and I was able to Make More Money on the internet than I thought was possible for me. One thing that I noticed was that to Make More Money I had to change my spending habits for a while so that I could have more money to play around with and invest into different business projects. Now I always keep track of the money that I make and I always keep track of the money that I spend. This way I can always make sure that I am always on top.
• Backup All Your Computer Data
  This is pretty straight forward, but it is extremely surprising to see that not many people do this. It doesn’t take too long and you can save a whole lot of heart ache by doing this. The chance that your computer blows up is pretty slim, but there is always a small chance that something may happen and you don’t want to be the unlucky person who lost months of hard work because of a few minutes of laziness!

Try some of these simple things and you will also see that you can get a lot more done just by being a little bit more organized. I turned several hours a day into a few short hours a week and the result is growing every single day! An Internet Entrepreneur is an ideal business person whether you would like to think so or not. The successful ones possess the same qualities as some of the world’s leading company CEOs. The ability to take an idea and turn it into a profit is something that very few can do and if you have the potential you can realize your dreams in only a few years!

The reason that I would say a Millionaire is an Ideal Business Man is because we already know that he/she is successful. Working a 9 to 5 job most people will never reach a Million dollars in their entire lifetime, the ability to do even reach a Million Dollars says a lot about that person and if it isn’t by chance then it was definitely no accident!

Sometimes when I am looking for different ideas to start business ventures or if I am looking for a way to monetize an idea I try to get into the Millionaire Mindset. One thing that helps me a lot is to read Magazines or Books because they help stimulate thoughts. One of the best Magazines that you can get your hands on if you are in business or would like to learn more about it, is “Forbes Magazine“. The great thing that I love about it is that it doesn’t just focus on one aspect of business. It talks about various different things like Finances, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and the different Markets!
